Over the weekend I was able to make a last-minute trip to the west side of the state to spend a few days with my girls. I’ve been wanting to go since the beginning of summer but there was always something that kept me home. Let’s face it…there is always something to keep me home. At times I just have to do my best to work out the details and ‘leave’…I want my girls to know that they are really far more important to me that the details of my daily life that keep me pretty tied down. I’m so thankful that Mr. T was willing to ‘hold down the fort’ and take care of all of the little animals here at home. Bottle feeding those baby goats really is a treat!
One of our first stops was a tasting room for balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Oh, my! That was fun!
We don’t require anything fancy…we just enjoy spending time together. And, what an amazing blessing for this mom!
An added treat was that my son and his family were in the area for the weekend as well so we met up for lunch on Saturday.
Such sweet, sweet moments!
